On Friday, December 18th, the entire RGS community came together to celebrate the holidays with performances that highlighted holiday traditions of the many cultures represented at RGS. Pictured above from left to right are students during the performance of 'Frere Jacques' in several different languages including German, held by Lucas Schlenzig (4); Spanish, held by Christian Branch (2); and Danish, held by Sophie Geernaert (1). It was a special morning, and we thank all of those who were able to join in the fun. |

Toy Drive Benefits 108 Children
Our first annual RGS Toy Drive for Bienvenidos Outreach yielded hundreds of items donated to 108 children and families in Santa Fe. On Friday, December 18, RGS students carried the toys to a large fire truck (courtesy of parent and fireman Paul Babcock and the Santa Fe Fire Department), which then delivered the toys to the very excited children. We are especially grateful to parents Katharina Babcock and Denise Johnson for organizing this enormously successful and powerful effort.
Annual Fund at 75% of Goal
To date, the 2009-10 Annual Fund has raised over $150,000 toward its goal of $200,000, with 54% of parents and 82% of staff participating. CLICK HERE to see current list of donors to the Annual Fund. As tuition only covers faculty and staff salaries, we need your support to make up the difference. No donation is too small--it is your participation that matters the most! | |
